Erick Sala, a highly collaborative and multifaceted professional adept at conceiving, developing, and implementing innovative design across numerous channels.
Born in Miami of Argentinean parents, I was raised in Puerto Rico and my family is largely comprised of Musicians and Artists. My artistic career probably started sitting in the lap of my late Grandfather Jose “El Maestro” Sala, one of the pioneers of Tango Music in Rosario, Argentina (www.tangosalaclub.com.ar). His gifts for composing and musical imagery influenced my desire to follow the path of the arts. I began drawing at an early age, and after studying almost every mixed media possible I turned to the late Andres Bueso, a pioneer in the arts of Puerto Rico, his influence helped me develop technique, style and a strong passion for fine art.
I take great pride in the design work I create and always try to deliver an effective, focus and on target product that fits my clients needs and goals.
I am proficient with industry-standards design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Audtion, Acrobat), IronCAD, Strata Design 3D and Microsoft Suite . I also have a working knowledge of preflighting files and creating packaging die-lines. Well-versed in WordPress, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube.
Every great design begins with an even better story. Logo design requires accurate attention to detail and precision. Since there is not much space in logos for a lot of elements or details, accuracy and precision are of top importance after the brand’s identity and personality. How close a value is to its true value determines accuracy.
The process begins with analyzing your audience and defining their perceptions of your product, service or idea. Identifying those features or aspects of what you are marketing that will be most appealing to your audience is essential.
Marketing is a form of professional communication since it consists of communicating to the public why they should buy or otherwise engage with whatever is being marketed. Often, this will take the form of writing, from crafting ad copy to creating scripts for TV spots or phone conversations. It might involve creating multimedia campaigns, understanding design, and having a general sense of who the end user is and what they want.
